QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Valid orientation and mobility specialist certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP)
• Minimum of one (1) year of an approved internship or related experience in an education or rehabilitation setting

Special Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical information and indications for orientation and mobility services
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
